Position: Pro Shop Associate
Location: Cedar Ridge Golf Course
Job Type: Seasonal - Part-Time, up to 12 hours a week.
Days Available: Wednesdays from 12:30-Close, and as needed.

Cedar Ridge Golf Course is located in East Lyme, Connecticut on Route 161, just a few minutes off I-95. The course spans nearly 60 acres and features an 18-hole Par 3 layout, offering a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pro Shop Associate. In this role, you will assist guests with purchases, provide information about products and services, and help maintain a clean and organized shop environment. Duties may include handling transactions, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests and visitors.

Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic knowledge of golf is preferred, but not required

- Must be 18 years or older

- Must be able to work the entire season (March through November).

Position: Grounds Maintenance

Locations: Cedar Ridge Golf Course, Fairways Driving Range & Cherrystones Driving Range
Job Type: Seasonal – Part-Time, up to 32 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible schedule spread across all three facilities, including weekdays and weekends as needed

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Grounds Maintenance employee. This position will assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of Cedar Ridge Golf Course, Fairways Driving Range, and Cherrystones Driving Range.

Responsibilities may include mowing and trimming grass, maintaining landscaping, emptying trash, maintaining driving range areas, assisting with course setup, and keeping all facilities clean, safe, and presentable. The position may also assist with other general maintenance duties as needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is able to work independently while following directions and established maintenance procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

• Mow and trim grass throughout the golf course and driving range facilities

• Maintain landscaping, grounds, and common areas

• Assist with golf course setup and daily maintenance

• Maintain and clean driving range areas

• Pick up golf balls and maintain range areas as needed

• Empty trash and keep facilities clean and presentable

• Assist with irrigation and general grounds maintenance

• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions

• Operate lawn and grounds maintenance equipment safely

• Perform other general maintenance duties as needed

 

Qualifications:

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and operating equipment

• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, golf course, or outdoor maintenance experience

• Basic knowledge of golf course or turf maintenance is a plus

• Must be able to safely operate or learn to operate grounds maintenance equipment

• Must be able to perform light maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be able to work the entire season (March through November)

 

Schedule:

Up to 32 hours per week, with hours spread across Cedar Ridge Golf Course, Fairways Driving Range, and Cherrystones Driving Range. Scheduling will vary based on weather, course conditions, maintenance needs, and facility operations.
